Act 175 requires that a list of all textbooks and course materials for undergraduate courses be published on the institution's website and posted at the bookstore by the following dates:
Spring Semester: Nov. 1 @ 12:00 p.m.
Fall/Summer Semesters: April 1 @ 12:00 p.m. We have a new process for you to follow that will be less time consuming and much easier to complete. The best part - you do not have to create a new adoption form each semester!
1) Instead of starting from "scratch" each semester, we will be sending you or a designated person in your college/department, pre-printed forms that include the details used for that course the last time it was taught (and we received an adoption form for it).
Note: To save you time, we will also include information related to new editions available or forthcoming, as well as indicating if the title is "out of print" according to the publisher.
2) Review the details on the forms to see if any changes need to be made, as well as include details about the estimated enrollment.
3) Return the form to mail slot #565, fax, or re-scan it (into a .pdf document) and e-mail it to KMartin2@uams.com or SPColclasure@uams.com
4) If you do not receive a pre-printed adoption form discussed above, several weeks before the due dates of April 1 or November 1, please contact Sonja Sims, Director, for further instructions.
